Hi! I'm Eva Maron, LISW-CP
I am originally from Buffalo, NY and a proud Alumni of SUNY University at Buffalo. I identify as a queer Lebanese American. My intersecting identities inform my commitment to creating an inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive space where individuals of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, and lived experiences feel seen, heard, and respected. I honor diverse identities and experiences, including queer and polyamorous lives, and provide letters for gender-affirming care without gatekeeping access. I am also a dog-mom who experienced a wonderful, anxious, and reactive dog who taught me about resilience, behavior, and the amazing connection between humans and their dogs.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in diverse environments, including a child and adolescent inpatient hospital, an adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program, adult day treatment, a sexual assault services center, and a support group for owners of behaviorally challenging and anxious dogs. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of trauma’s complexities and the ways systemic violence impacts mental health. My clinical approach is trauma-informed and survivor-centered. I reject pathologizing frameworks and instead focus on resilience, self-understanding, and collective transformation as the heart of meaningful progress.
I utilize a combination of therapies tailored to each client’s individual needs, most commonly Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). Collaboration, autonomy, and curiosity guide the work I do, and I work alongside clients to determine the best approach—including financial arrangements, striving to make therapy accessible.
If the goal is to explore personal growth, navigate complex emotional challenges, or seek support around identity and trauma, I offer a warm, respectful, and empowering space.
